What happens when you have a student account are no longer a student?
I was a student for 2 years but I need to take a year out. I plan to go back to studying afterwards. Does anything happen to your account? Do the perks of that account cease? and/or do they charge you for no longer being a student but still having the account? I don't have an overdraft but i just discovered the consequences of an unnarranged overdraft. So now im a bit worried about the bullshit they'll charge me for technicalities like this.

Answer 1 :
Bank account you mean? You'll begin to pay interest on an overdraft if you have one, as you'll no longer be a student and will stop receiving benefits linked to that
Answer 2 :
Most banks will allow you to have a student account for a certain number of years, often 4 years. After that, they will ask you to confirm again that you are a student. If you aren't, the account will become a standard account, which will probably have different fees and charges.
